From checking your extras limits to submitting claims and managing your membership details, the app gives you more control over the everyday parts of your cover.
At Doctors’ Health Fund, we are continuing to introduce app features and enhancements designed to save you time, reduce the need to call our Member Services Team, and make common tasks easier. Below are some popular features of our app.
Check your limits
You can check your remaining extras limits, where applicable, helping you keep track of what you have used and what may still be available to claim.
Cardless claiming via our QR code
Claim on-the-spot at extras providers with HICAPS terminals using a secure QR code within the app.
HICAPS (Health Industry Claims and Payments Service) is a widely used system for processing health claims electronically. Many healthcare providers use HICAPS, which means you can scan your digital QR code and have your claim processed on-the-spot at many places.

Submit claims directly through the app
Forgot your card or couldn’t use cardless claiming? You can submit any eligible claims up to two years from the date of service through the app.
Claim anywhere, anytime. Upload your receipts to the app and submit your claim! Your benefits will be paid directly to your nominated account. Read more about claiming here.
View and manage payment details
In the app, you can view and update your payment information, including your nominated bank account for benefit payments and direct debits.
Order a replacement member card
Lost your member card? You can now order a replacement member card directly through the app – there’s no need to call us to request a card. Once you have ordered your replacement in the app, we will send it to your nominated address as soon as possible.
