Support for members impacted by floods

Doctors’ Health Fund members seriously affected by flooding events may be eligible for financial assistance in the form of premium relief that won’t impact your cover.

To be eligible for this assistance, members need to:

  • be working or living in an area impacted by the floods;
  • have had more than 5 days of business interruption and income loss OR be eligible for a Disaster Recovery Payment;
  • have held a Doctors’ Health Fund policy for at least 3 months;
  • be active and financial (in arrears less than 14 days).

The Local Government Areas (LGAs) eligible for an Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment can be found at servicesaustralia.gov.au.
