McGrathNicol has been appointed as receivers to work with Healthscope’s management team on the company’s restructure and sale process.

Healthscope stated that while it has entered receivership at a parent company level, the operational business which runs its hospitals is not in receivership.

Further, Healthscope sought to reassure patients that all 38 of its hospitals will continue to operate as normal and there will be no immediate impact on its 19,000 staff or patient care.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and our focus remains on ensuring minimal disruption for our members.
