Supporting members impacted by the NSW floods
Doctors’ Health Fund, as part of Avant Mutual, is proud to stand by our members in times of need.
Our thoughts are with our members who have been impacted by the unfolding floods in NSW.
We understand this is a difficult and stressful time for our members, and as we have done in the past, we would like to reach out and offer our support.
For members who are directly affected by the inclement weather, we may waive your premium for three months subject to eligibility, without any impact to your cover.
By waiving premiums for those directly impacted, we hope to ease some of the financial burden our members are facing.
To be eligible for this assistance, members need to:
- be working or living in an area impacted by the floods;
- be eligible for a Disaster Recovery Payment;
- have been a Doctors’ Health Fund member for at least three (3) months; and
- have a current policy that is active and financial.
Please contact us by email or by calling 1800 226 126 Monday to Friday (excluding NSW public holidays) from 8:30am to 6:00pm (NSW time) to discuss your situation and how we can assist you.
