Our annual member survey is one of the most effective tools we have to develop a better understanding of how satisfied you are with our service and our products and what improvements we can make.

We received a wide variety of responses from you, from the affordability of health insurance and inclusion of alternative therapies to the changes we made to our optical limit periods. Not all feedback was positive and we are working through these to ensure the insights we’ve gained are taken into consideration for future changes and improvements.

After another major medical illness in the family this year, we truly appreciate the coverage and benefits of being with a health fund that really understands the medical community and what and when patients need in a time of crisis, to properly get better. This is in conjunction with the emphasis on preventative health - an example being the generous benefits for dental check ups.

Each time I have contacted the Health Fund the staff have been courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I am also very happy with the benefits paid and the ease of using the claim app.

Good help by phone and am pleased I took out extra cover as advised. I had never bothered with this previously. Glad I changed to Doctors' Health Fund in 2016 after 30 years plus with Medibank Private. It is a much more personal and responsive organisation.

I am covered for more albeit at a higher premium but the other health funds do not offer this level of cover even for a higher premium.

Recently had elective surgery, and was pleasantly surprised with the minimal paperwork and liaising with the health fund. This is what health funds should be. Have already recommended my family and eligible patients to your health fund.

I had a major operation for the first time in my life. The fund was so efficient... I was simply able to forget about the financial side of the process. Good rebates, efficient service and a person on the phone who knows what they are talking about.

Top cover is the best available in Australia – only fund that pays up to AMA recommended fees and no hospital excess, that's what I like, pay a little more as you go and then no worries if and when you need care.

Compared to other funds, I am extremely happy with the ancillary benefits cover with Doctors Health and, given the ever increasing out-of-pocket expenses for specialist services, I am relieved to know that I have top hospital cover. I think Doctors Health Fund gives you peace of mind and a better alternative to the larger funds in terms of premiums and benefits.
